Conventions

I really like to be busy.

It sometimes is tough not being able to go to conventions. I recently missed The Midwest Haunters Convention.

These conventions seem to be getting better and better every year based on what others report.

Hopefully will be able to make that one next year.

Stan Winston

It is very sad that Stanley Winston died a few days ago. I personally did not realize the amount of excellent work that he did on Horror and other films. He recently did the special effects in Iron Man.

He was best known for his work in the Terminator series, the Jurassic Park series, Aliens, the Predator series, and Edward Scissorhands. He won a total of four Academy Awards for his work.

He will be missed.

It would be very interesting to speak with a true historian about the false facts on the net. Especially those with a religious agenda.

Halloween 2008 and new stuff

I am getting excited about Halloween 2008. There is a lot already happening online.

Some sites that have been around for a long time seem to be "re-vamping" their sites. For instance, Halloween Magazine is launched a new design this week.

Halloween costumes will also be cool this year. There are a lot of movie icon characters out this year. Maybe I will make a list in the coming days with what I think will be hot!
